2026 - Plan changes affecting Lincoln County Residents

  • In Lincoln County, roughly 5,000 Medicare Advantage members will need to look at new options

  • Samaritan Health Plans announced it's exit from the Lincoln County Medical Advantage Market

  • Beginning in 2026 they will no longer be offering their plans to Lincoln County residents

  • If you currently have a Samaritan MA plan, you'll need to review your options

  • It's important to act during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)

  • Stay informed about Special Enrollment Periods (SEP) and changes to your plan

Devoted Health MA

Devoted Health is now the primary Medicare Advantage insurer in Lincoln County for 2026. These MA plans wrap Original Medicare together with Part D drug coverage and extra benefits (varies by plan).

Supplemental (Medigap) + Part D

If you prefer Original Medicare and want supplemental coverage, you can choose a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) policy plus a standalone Part D drug plan. If your MA plan provider has left your service area you are entitled to a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) which allows you GUARANTEED ISSUE to Medigap without medical underwriting. For individuals with health concerns this can be a beneficial approach.

Original Medicare

You can remain on (or choose) Original Medicare (Parts A & B) with or without an MA or Medigap plan. You can add a Part D drug plan and perhaps a Medigap policy to fill cost gaps.
